Four-year-old dies after beating in Argentine Township; Mother and her boyfriend in custody

ARGENTINE TOWNSHIP, Michigan — A four-year-old boy died today
after he was apparently beaten over a 24-hour period this weekend.

Argentine
Township Police were called to 9087 Harper St. #408 for an injured and
beaten child on Sunday, according to police. Police found the boy on the
floor in the east side bedroom.

NEW YORK
(CNNMoney.com) -- Infantino LLC is recalling more than 1 million baby
slings after three infant deaths were reported, the U.S. Consumer
Product Safety Commission said Wednesday.

The CPSC said consumers
should immediately stop using the slings for children younger than four
months due to suffocation risks.
